EHS Leadership Message

 

OP-TECH has a strong commitment to providing a safe work environment for employees, clients, client representatives, and subcontractors. We have adopted a ZERO injury philosophy where all work related accidents, incidents, injuries and illnesses are preventable.

At OP-TECH we are focused on job safety planning and the recognition, reporting and correcting of hazardous conditions. We ask employees to consider the efficient use of engineering and administrative controls to reduce the risk of injury. We promote continuous safety awareness and constantly reinforce the need for employees to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and practices. 

The OP-TECH leadership team has established high standards and goals that require the unconditional commitment of our employees. We have adopted an EHS philosophy that establishes policies and procedures and provides tools so that our employees can implement programs effectively. We provide employees with the knowledge, skills and understanding to make safety a habit in all that we do.

At OP-TECH we recognize the need to build a culture where everyone accepts responsibility and accountability for their own safety and health, as well as the safety and health of their co-workers. We are focused on achieving our performance goals while at the same time integrating EHS as a core value into our everyday business operations.
