OP-TECH is committed to the goal of maintaining the experience modification rate, total OSHA recordable incident rate and lost workday incident rate below the industry average with the ultimate target being no injuries.
Each Manager with overall responsibility and authority for a project or activity is responsible for applying this policy. OP-TECH will provide managers with professional advice and counsel to help them meet our health and safety responsibilities. Managers and Supervisors are responsible for developing the proper attitudes toward health and safety , for training and verifying that all operations are performed with the utmost regard for the health and safety of all personnel involved. Managers must not allow any tasks to be performed without a "Competent Person" present to supervise the activities of OP-TECH employees or any subcontractor employees.
Employees have primary responsibility for their own health and safety, cooperation with all aspects of the health and safety program, including compliance with rules and regulations and continuously practicing and remaining alert to health and safety issues while performing duties.
